How heavy must a crop be to sell for 1,000,000 Sheckles?
| Crop | Base weight (kg) | Base value | Plain (kg) | Gold (kg) | Rainbow (kg) | Rainbow + Shocked + Frozen (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mango | 15 | 6,500 | 186.1 | 41.6 | 26.3 | any weight |
| Bamboo | 4 | 4,000 | 63.2 | 14.1 | 8.9 | any weight |
| Pumpkin | 8 | 3,400 | 137.2 | 30.7 | 19.4 | any weight |
| Watermelon | 7 | 3,000 | 127.8 | 28.6 | 18.1 | any weight |
| Apple | 3 | 275 | 180.9 | 40.5 | 25.6 | any weight |
| Corn | 2 | 40 | 316.2 | 70.7 | 44.7 | 4.28 |
| Tomato | 0.5 | 30 | 91.3 | 20.4 | 12.9 | 1.24 |
| Blueberry | 0.2 | 20 | 44.7 | 10 | 6.3 | 0.61 |
| Carrot | 0.275 | 20 | 61.5 | 13.8 | 8.7 | 0.83 |
| Strawberry | 0.3 | 15 | 77.5 | 17.3 | 11 | 1.05 |
Weight = base weight x sqrt(1,000,000 / (base value x variant x mutation total)). Gold is x20, Rainbow x50, Shocked + Frozen x109. A weight below 0.95 times the base weight sells for the floor price; "any weight" means even that floor price already tops 1,000,000. Results are rounded.
Questions
Do mutations multiply or add?
They add. Shocked (x100) and Frozen (x10) together give x109, not x1,000. The variant, such as Gold or Rainbow, then multiplies that total.
Why does doubling the weight quadruple the price?
The wiki formula multiplies the price by the square of the weight ratio (weight divided by base weight). A 2x ratio gives 4x, a 3x ratio gives 9x.
Can a normal fruit reach these weights?
Not by itself. The wiki says a fruit rolls 0.7 to 1.4 times its base weight, ×3 or ×4 on a lucky roll. A Mango would need 12.4 times its base weight for the plain 1,000,000.
Is this exactly what the game pays?
Not guaranteed. The wiki notes that fruits pass through an extra value curve it does not publish, and that Honey crops use another formula. These numbers come from the published formula only. The lowest any fruit sells for is 0.9025 times its base value.
