  4. Fill in your legal name and the Robux amount, and agree to the terms.

Questions

What is the minimum to cash out?

30,000 Earned Robux in your account. At the standard rate of $0.0038 that is $114. Only Earned Robux counts, not Robux you bought.

How often can I cash out?

Roblox allows one completed DevEx request per calendar month. If your payment arrives in January, the next request can be made in February.

Do I need to verify my ID for DevEx?

The DevEx page does not list ID verification as an eligibility requirement. It says only that if the name on your account does not match the name on your payment or tax details, the people involved will likely need to follow the ID verification process. The tax form and a verified email are required.

What changes on November 1, 2026?

Roblox says DevEx payments will be classified as royalties from that date. For creators outside the US, 0% to 30% US tax withholding applies to DevEx payments related to sales to US players, depending on residence and any tax treaty claim. 24% US backup withholding may apply to the full payout if valid tax information is not on file by October 31, 2026. Roblox recommends requesting a payout by October 15, 2026 if you want it under the current Terms of Use.

How long does a payout take?

Roblox estimates around 10 business days for a first-time participant and around 5 business days for returning participants. Requests are not processed on weekends or holidays, and your payment method adds its own time (for example PayPal 2 to 3 business days, wire 1 to 5, ACH 3 to 5).
