How size changes income
The size multiplier depends on how many times heavier a pet is than its base weight: ratio^(5/3) below base, ratio^(37/60) up to 125×, then ratio^(2/5) × 125^(13/60).

What doubling the weight adds

Below 125×, each doubling of weight multiplies income by about 1.53; above it, by 1.32. Getting 10× income from size alone takes about 42× the base weight.
Questions
Does double the weight mean double the income?
No. At 2× base weight the size multiplier is ×1.53. Doubling income takes about 3.1× the base weight.
Why does 125× matter?
Past 125× the base weight the formula switches to a flatter curve. At 125× the multiplier is ×19.64; after that, doubling the weight only adds about 1.32× more.
How do I find my pet's base weight?
The game doesn't show it, but the community wiki lists a base weight in kg for every pet. Pick the pet in the calculator and its base weight fills in; you only enter the weight shown in game.
What if a pet is lighter than its base weight?
Then the formula switches to ratio^(5/3), so income falls fast. Half the base weight gives a size multiplier of ×0.31.
